What else embassy would require?

Hi,
I am married to German and applied for permanent residence permit. I submitted all documents they required and we wait for the confirmation letter from the standesamt if my documents needed a verification. My question is what else they would require from me other than those that I submitted? Will they require me to submit a police certificate, medical certificate etc?
