Hello all,
I have a tricky one for you....
Wife of one of my fellow GC holder has stayed back in Bosnia because of some health problems. Is there any time limit in which she has to return back? Basically its now 5 months and we heard from someone that she should get back in germany within six months in order to maintain my friends tax class status and her visa validity.
Can anyone throw more light on this please?

Not really that tricky, she has to be back here b4 6 months or if she really can't have to notify the Embassy (I think) there to let 'em know she can't.

You wrote that "if she cann't then she has to inform the local embassy". Well in such case does the tax class of the person gets affected? And is her visa still valid? Can anyone tell me which 'Amt' covers such issues? 'Buergeramt'??
Since they drove down there, there was no passport check done when they exited the country, so is it truely on the person to inform that he / she is not returning back to the country?
