Australian waiting for VISA
Hi guys,
Could someone please help. My local german consulate (Melbourne) does not have any information for me regarding my visa application. I am now into the sixth week since i put my forms through. I have applied for a visa to work in Bremen. I have tried calling the numbers i found online to the Alien Authority office in Bremen, however no-one picks the phone up.
Does anyone have some number/contact details of someone/somewhere that can tell me how things are going??

well, in fact 6 weeks is not that bad. For me it took longer and even worst for your case, we had summer holidays!
Here you have the office where (I think) you need to call:

Watch the telefon number, from down there would be:
+49 421 361 59060
Is really strange nobody picks the phone... maybe you dialed wrong.
If not, try to email them.

Thanks very much for your reply.
I tried the numbers again but this time right on 8:00am and managed to get through.
She told me that my documents and job contract had not been sent to the Job Center yet. I assume this is some kind of employment place to verify that there is no one else who can forthfil the job.
I wasnt able to get any more details other than call back in 2 weeks. Would anyone know the contact details to the Job Center in Bremen?
