apply German workpermit from India

Hello,
Right now I have a German company work contract signed and the required offer letter. I want to apply from India this work permit. How long does it take now a days to get the permit approved provided I submit Visa application, work Contract docs along with company cover letter, educationsal certificates and the required fees.

If any one has a detail experience on this, please guide me so that I could help myself in future.
