Hi again!!

I hope everything's fine with you all. I have just a small doubt.
I have applied for the citizenship on 29.04.2008. Papers seemed to go ok. I got now a new letter with subject "Antrag vom 29.08.2008" (this is strange since all letters before were saying 29.04.2008), they sent the letter on 01.09.2008 they say they need now a "Nachweis ueber Kenntnisse der Recths- und Gesellschaftsordnung in Deutschland" (Einbuergerungstest)

I have no problem on doing the test, but is it right that I should do it? I thought the test should be done when the application is done after the 01.09.2008.

@javier,

law clearly says, all citizenship applications pending since 31.03.07 must be supported with einburgerungtest. So, you need to pass test and submit the result. This is very unfortunate that your processing taking so much time that new law become applicable on you as well.
