Appointment for Einbürgerung/Citizenship
Dear Friends,
I have got an apppointment for submitting my application for eninbürgerung. I have already completed 7 years.
Could you please help me with the following:
1.What kind of discussion(Questions) takes place during this document submitting process?
2.How should I prepare for this meeting?
The members who have already gone through this process, please contribute.

@Shanks - did you call to get an appointment ? How much after the call did you get an appointment.

Yes, I called them may be on Jan 11th and I got a appointment on Jan 19th.
She looked at all my documents and seemed to be happy.She also made me sign all the forms including a big list of terrorist organizations and also the loyaltydeclaration. She told me the process would go for 6 months mindestens and if the papers are in order will then be relatively shorter.
But Am I not supposed to get a Initial ack letter from them saying they have rec's the application. Isnt that the first step? My friends who applied in stuttgart got these letters say within 3 weeks and their processing time was like 2 -3 months.

I agree. but I am not asking for the process completion letter. I am asking for the Acknowledgment letter saying I have applied.
When did u recieve your FIRST EVER letter from them?

This is what i told you. The first letter came after 5 months, stating that i need to fill up one form which was enclosed and after 2 weeks of that they send me Einbürgerungszusicherung.
