Hi Everybody,
I have a question. the new immigration law which is passed ,will it provide a master student after his studies, one year stay permit or work permit+ stay permit.

One of my friend is completing his studies in Freising University, and he wanted to apply for work permit(there is a new law comeup, that a student can get an extension of one year to search for a job). Can anyone send me the link or the Rule which states that he can get work permit, as he got a very bad response from freising landratsamt.

You will get one year Residence permit after you finish your studies but your are not allowed to work. This permit is only for "job search".

Thanks for the previous answer. So does it mean there is no limitation to find any job ?
i will finish my master study in landscape architecture and currently i was talking to one of the german company.
Should i get this so called job search visa first then i ask that office for the contract then i apply for working permit ? or should i ask the office to proceed it for me ?
one more thing is that it was mentioned that german office can hire foriegner to work for them if they cant find german. Does it imply to my case since I was studying in germany ?
I m quite stressed now and your help will be very greatfull.
