Citizenship

Dear Friends,
Im an Indian living in Germnay, near Dusseldorf since May 2001.
i came to Germany through DAAD Fellowship for 10 months.
I was worked as Wissenschfatlich Mitarbeiter (BAT 2a) in an University from 04 / 2002 till 07/2007 towards my PhD. after my PhD i have been working as a R&D Engineer in a small company since 08/2007.

that means:
1. I have complete 8 years living in Germany
2. I have passed Einburgerungstest

i heard that i m eligible for getting German citizenship

So, i would like to apply for German citizenship.

what do you think, am I eligible for the German Citizenship.

Please anybody let me know if there is any Lawyer who can help in the processing of my German citizenship applciation.
