Dear All,
We would like to own an apartment in Germany which is from the City`s Municipality, Baugesellschaft from our city. It is still under construction and will be completed in Spring 2011. We have few questions like :
>> How relaible are these types of apartments ?
>> We would like to take a loan from a bank. Are there any banks which provides a good deal for housing loans?
>> What is the criteria in choosing a bank?
>> What are the "gotcha" to look forward before buying the house?

I cannot answer all you questions but I think this link http://www.interhyp.de/ could be useful to get an idea in what is involved when buying a flat. You can arrange an apointment with a consultant from them to get an idea and it does not mean that you have to take their offer.
As you can see in the Zinsentwicklung chart published there, it seems to be a good moment to buy...
