Tax Return - another question

Hello Forum members,

To file my tax return, i need some guidance from you. I heard and also read in this forum that i will get some money back if i dont work for whole year.

Is it right and how to proceed to get this money back. IS there any separate form for this purpose.

in my case, from september i started working. Till september 2007, worked as a student and received some money. But did not pay any tax as student and i paid only rentenversicherung.

Tax is calculated based on the assumption that if you are earning XYZ EUR then your tax is based on XYX * 12 EUR

If someone stars late on the year or have not worked for some months, or worked with different salaries then normally he has paid more tax. You can claim that in your tax return. Best is to talk to finanzamt or talk with tax consultant.
