How long do we have time to report employment office Unemployed?

My wife is already late by 6 weeks to inform the Arbeitsamt that she is unemployed.

It was a complicated situation as company got bankrupt. As she was in elterzeit they had to get special permissions. 30.11.2010 is my last working day.

What are the implications.
