Urlaubsbescheinigung- Translation help needed
Dear Trust 7 friends,
I got my Urlaubsbescheinigung from my previous employer. I will be joining a new company from Monday. As per my old contract my eligibility for vacations is 30 days for the whole year. For 2006 I have worked from Jan to end of June, which means I am eligible for 15 days.
The last 2 lines of the Urlaubsbescheinigung reads as
Für das laufende Kalendarjahr 2006 werden hiervon 15 Tage von uns gewährt.
Es wurden 0 Tage abgegolten.
Could any one of you help me in translating exactly what this means? Does that mean that I still have 15 days remaining or has all the days been already taken as vacation.
I have not yet taken any days of vacation for this year.

Hi Chandra,
They have just written that from them upto now (end of june) you have 15 days of holidays. You took no (0 days) holidays.
So you have still 15 days of holidays.
