Work permit for German partner.

Hi there,

I am currently waiting for my visa to enter Germany to get register under same-sex partnership law with my partner who is a German citizen. I will be getting registered in the state of Schleswig Holstein. Do I automatically get a residence permit with working privilege or do I need to apply it separately? and how would I do that? and what about the integration course? Is this course obligatory in order to get a work permit or can I already work and attend this course part time? We're planning to move to Hamburg, will this affect anything on my permit?
