visiting UK as a tourist with visa "c-visit-business"
Hi all,
subject explains. I have work and residence permits in Germany and I had got 2-year, multiple-entry "c-visit-business" visa for UK. The application was for business purposes only.
In the UK visa stick on my passport it says "c-visit-business".
May I fly to UK for touristic purposes with this kind of visa? Did anybody have experience with this?
Cheers,

Re: visiting UK as a tourist with visa "c-visit-business"
Hi raj and UMTS11,
many thanks for your answers. Actually I was also certain that I can fly to England with this type of visa but anyway, visa formalities in my life have made me so paranoid...
Such kind of information do not exist in any web page of UK Embassies or you are asked to call them:
http://www.britisc...sa_applications_e.htm
Take a look at the call fees. 14$ for sole question to ask whether a visa is valid for touristic purposes.
Making an easy life so hard is the rule of life...

Re: visiting UK as a tourist with visa "c-visit-business"
Hi raj, I now have absolutely no doubt any more.
I have written an email to the address you mentioned above. I have received a response within 2 hours today stating that "c-visit-business" visa can be used for touristic purposes. UMTS already did it before.
I thank raj and UMTS11 for all of your patience.

Hi Klenze17,
The Visa C - Business normally allows you to go to UK for non-Business purposes like tourist visits, but in certain cases you must justify some issues, to be sure of these issues, I recommend for you an International law firm located in London and they can help you, the name of this firm is Bright Case International Law Firm and you can access them through http://www.bcsite.com I believe they will be able to help you more.
