If I understand correctly, a person is eligible for a Niederlassungserlaubnis if he/she has been working in Germany for 5 years. Now my question is, what if those 5 years are a 400 euro minijob? Does that count as well? I don't think it does, but I want to make sure. If it matters, the person's spouse has a full-time job (over 2000 euro).
Secondly, can a person get Beschäftigung Erlaubt after working a 400 euro minijob for 2 years, or does it have to be a full-time job?
Thank you,
Victor
