Hi,
I have already applied for long term spouse visa unfortunately my husband lost his job so embassy has hold the visa processing for 6 weeks.My query is can I apply for tourist visa in the mean while. If not what is the other way to visit him in Germany?

You can try for a tourist visa, but most probably it will be rejected on the basis that you have applied for a spouse visa. You have two possibilities, either you withdraw the spouse visa and apply for a tourist visa or your spouse can visit you.

Is there any possibility to withdraw my spouse visa? it would be better than getting a rejection letter. how can i withdraw my spouse visa?

check if you can apply for tourist visa via other schengen country.
