Niederlassungserlaubnis - Daueraufenthalt EG. Anyone got this yet?
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has got the NE with the addendum "Daueraufenthalt EG". I am going there in 2 months and planning on asking for it. I was wondering if there is a precedence already.

I should have got it 2 weeks ago but the dudes in Ausländeramt told me I gotta wait till they get the right sticker(that thing they stick into the passport) with the wordings "Daueraufenthalt EG". They will send me a letter as soon as the sticker arrives. Till then I have to wait.

Could you please post here when they physically stick the "Daueraufenthalt EG" on your passport ? that would be an important info for the rest of the community.. (and also the state in which you get it)

yes, you have to ask Ausländeramt for it. Any GC holder who qualifies for NE is entitled to it. This special NE is your entitlement and you should not be tossed about.

am located in meschede, Hochsauerlandkreis, better know as "Am Asch der Welt". Which is truly so bse even the germans themselves dont seem to have any idea where it is. I bet Detlef doesnt know either.

Indeed I am gonna be moving outta this hicktown very very soon. Am looking at all options and angles, even obtuse angles such as H1B. I already received some promising calls from usa, and even had a one hour techical interview on 18.03.2006. Better still I had an interview, the day before, in Brussels (European commission) and got a job offer. Now if that aint the best thing that ever happened to an Arbeitsloser, I will eat my head. I think you can now understand why am so much interested in that "Daueraufenthalterlaubnis EG". In fact I would bust an artery to get it. Next week I will be doing just that in the Ausländeramt. All beaurocratic german arteries in that place will be fair game. Watch this space. Cheers!!!

Daueraufenthalt EG with NE means.what will be the advantage for me as a NE to have this sentence on my visa
