Indian-German Wedding
Hello,
I am an Indian citizen currently living in the UK and I am getting married in December 2011 to a German citizen currently living in Germany. The wedding will take place in India. My questions and confusions are:
1) Which kind of visa should I apply for to move to Germany? (Family reunion? Permanent residency?)
2) Where should I apply this visa from? (India? UK? I know I can apply from either but does anyone have any experiences based on which they can recommend?)
I would highly appreciate and be grateful for your responses.

Hey Pooja,
here are some suggestions:
- Befor Marriage:
it will be nice if you can plan a paper marriage in Germany or UK, this will help you avoid any delays later on with marriage verification process upon your apllication for German visa.
- After Marriage:
you can only apply for a family reunion visa and if you are a resident of UK for more than 6 months then you should apply from UK.
