Holidays in old company

Hi,

Iam planning to change my job.
question is:
with my present employer till june end i have 10 remaining holidays (yearly 30, used 5). is it possible to use these 10 holidays with new employer?
if my present employer gives a confirmation (that he didnt used his 10 holidays) will that new employer accepts this confirmation?
is this normal process? (this is my first time that iam changing my job)

Thank you

Re: Holidays in old company

New employer may or maynot accept it. You better use the holidays and if not possible ask the present employer to pay them out. Not fair to ask the new company to give you paid holidays from your old company.

Re: Holidays in old company

In my company, they accepted a letter from old company and allowed me to take holidays.

Seems it is legal requirement from the way my HR spoke with me.
