Green card information needed.

Hi,

I have a green card in Germany and i am from India. My question is

1) If I go before my expire of visa can I come here again to visit my friend in Germany with the same visa as tourist as i have now recidence permit.

2) If I have to go before my expire of my visa due to some layoff in germany to India, can I come to Germany again for work with the same work permit and residence permit.
Can you please let me know the process ?
