Daueraufenthalts EG in the Netherlands

I have a Daueraufenthalts EG, and I have recently accepted a new job in the Netherlands. In spite of having a Daueraufenthalts EG, my new employers have asked me to apply for a Dutch visa! Is that required? Can I not live and work in the Netherlands with an Daueraufenthalts EG?

Many thanks in advance for all advice and suggestions.

Re: Daueraufenthalts EG in the Netherlands

Your will require a new work permit and residence permit, which is very easy nowadays and even your spouse is allowed to work immediately.

expatica.com has all the information you need.
