Aufenthaltserlaubnis renewal

Hello,

I have applied for my Aufenthaltserlaubnis renewal in order to do another 6 month internship. My case worker told me that it might be denied because the Bundesagentur doesn't understand why I want to do another internship.

If my renewal gets denied, can I reapply?
How long do I have to reapply once I get the letter from the Bundesagentur or from the Auslanderbehorde?
