American doing internship in Germany
Hi, I have an internship offer from a German company and am a bit confused as to what exactly I need to do to obtain residence and work permits.
I have been studying for the past year an Germany and got an Aufenthaltserlaubnis for that. It expires before I am starting the internship.
The internship is paid and will last about 4 months. I have done quite a bit of research but have not found an exact answer on what exactly I need. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

pls ask the HR manager of your company, it is their responsibility not yours. Good luck and keep us posted!!
