Am I eligible for new emmigration law for students..plz give info

hi guys,

I will be finishing my Masters in this October 2004. After that i can have job suchen visa for 3 months(i.e till 2005 jan). Will I be eligible to get one year visa from jan 2005 as per new immigration law..Any ideas?..plz give info and suggestions..Thanx in advance..
