filing for rente from UK

Hi guys,
I heard if I file my rente/pension returns from UK after leaving germany, I will not be able to get them before i turn 65 as UK happens to be in Europe in the same pension system. is this TRUE???

Can someone also let me know who has done it or who knows how to get it being in the UK.

And also if one has not done the abmeldung in germany and left germany and wants to claim rente after 2 yrs, is it OK as abmeldung is done automatically.
