Turkey and Croatia on the way to EU
Did you saw that sudden change.
What do you think happenned that Austria accepted Terkey entrance in EU.
For me it looks like Austria changed Turkey entry for Croatia entry: after Carla del Ponte accepted that Croatia can enter EU, Austria gave acceptance for Turkey entrance in EU.
No wonder at all. After all Austria and Croatia made wars against Turkey for 300 years.

Re: Turkey and Croatia on the way to EU
He is trying to say how bad politicians can be.
You see, UK is trying to stop Croatia joining EU before Serbia. Don’t ask why. It is enough to say that UK doesn’t like Croatia. But Austria does.
So, if UK wants Turkey to join EU, UK must give green light to Croatia. Otherwise, there will be no deal.
And all of this happened in period when UK have mandate to lead EU. Great imperator has lost battle. But war is not finished yet. And never will be.
