unlimited work permit or Selbständiger
hi
i have asked the foreign officer for an unlimited work permit or Selbständiger VISA. They have refused to give that VISA.
They told that there is no such law for green card holder, I am here in germany for about 4 years with green card...
After searching in the forum i found this link for unlimited WP

after staying for 4.4 years, i recently got ungeschränkt work permission, but not to do my own work. means i could not become selbständig.
It would be interesting to know if its possible to get a visa allowing to start ones own work (without investing 1 million euro and without employing 10 people initially). Or if there is some work around to handle this problem???

Selbständiger and unlimited WP is possible after staying in Germany with GC for 4 years

the link u posted is the right one but according to the AB, it means u can work freely without market check, also in any field (and not just IT) - but it does not give the right to start our own business - she told me, because i still do not have NE, i cannot work on my own.

Someone wants to deny me from getting WP which I don't understand. In March I would be five years in this conutry. Why am I being denied my rights. What should I do? I spoke with the official in AA and he said,in the past I got duldung but with the new law those with duldung can even get WP.Now that have Aufenthaltserlaubnis.

In March you would have completed 5 years....
Apply for the NE. ( Search the forum for this )
Now analysing the issue, you need to speak the AA Lingo.
Tell them that you need to apply for Niederlassung Erlaubnis.

After 3 years of Gc or 4 years of stay in germany you can get BE ( unresticted work permit)
if you are lucky you can get EG "Selbständiger"

BE = unlimited work permit but not for selbstst.
EG = same + can be selbstständig
law says that you HAVE TO get BE after 3 y in D
but not EG. ABH must give you EG only if you invest 1 milion €. otherwise they can give you EG but they do not have to.
I got EG BUT even BE is somethimes hard to get.
So look topic: "My Antrag auf auflage aufhebung" do Antrag and hope for a EG. If you do not get it, than even BE is good.
