Hello,
I am getting transferred from India to Germany. I will shift my family as well.
1. I have a pet dog (Labrador), which I wanted to take along. Is there any restriction to do that. What are all the formalities required to fullfill?
It will be quiet helpful if anyone could reply.

Just to add , Can anyone tell , wht is the procedure if someone wanna take a pet (dog) with him back to home country ? , any permission / check / etc need to be done. A friend of mine want to take a dog to Pakistan.

Hi ,
a German friend i know told me that maintaining a Dog in Germany is a bit Expensive..because they need Insurance!! just in case your Dog bites someone 
so be prepared for some Extra costs.
