Great place to work in Germany

I found this web-site really interesting, thought of sharing it with you all.

http://www.greatpl....com/best/list-de.htm

Unfortunately I didn't find the names of some of the big companies in the list.

It would be great to hear from someone who is working in one of these firms, what they think about their company. Others are also encouraged to share their views.

Re: Great place to work in Germany

i am working in one those companies listed. I dont think that the companies listed are really the great places to work. The Marketing people in those companies use mostly fake statistics about satisfaction of their employees to achieve that titel. But there are few companies which are really good like Microssoft, SAP etc.

i think companies use this to attract people in the Market to join them. There r many companies not listed but r much better then those listed.

I'm working for one of the companies from top 10 - I'd say it's really quite good, but it again depends what department you are working in.

@MH & Bies

How would you rank a company ?

How do you say that a company is good/bad ?

What factors do you consider ?

HB,

Find out answers of the following question:

-How successful has been the company in the Market in near past
-How stable is the financial condition of the company
-If they have much projects in the pipeline for you
-If you can achieve ur potentional inside this company
-How different this new company is in comparison to your current one
-If its a typical deutsch or international company (Being Ausländer inter. companies r a bit easier to work in)

-And if you can fullfil the job conditions like much travel&relocation etc.
-what is the history of this company in terms of layoffs during bad-times
