Hi,
One of my friend (having 3 yrs of Java experience) is planning for a job change...
And asked me how much one can demand. To be frank, I didn't know what to suggest him?
So i am asking you guys, how much one can demand at the new company.
Any hints?

this is a general trend.
it all depends individual skills, negotiation luck etc. so, it can go in any direction and as high as you can think.
also depends on the city/location etc.
for 10 years exp 60k to 70k in general.

Depends on job location and skill set.
Normally
35K to 40K in East
40K to 45K in West
engineer
