how to calculate compensation

Hi,

I am working here from past 3years with this company. I have 6 months notice period. My employer placed an offer(Aufhebungsvertrag) by paying compensation. I heard that there is some formula to calculate. Does any body have idea how to calculate compensation?. Is it better option to take it? Will I be able to apply for Arbietslos ?
