Health Insurance for Dependent mother
My mother will be staying with me for 2years with a dependent visa. How should I plan her health insurance? I'm insured under government insurance (Family insurance). Now could I insure her under the same family insurance?
As she is a dependent with no income source other than me. Which is the best way to insure her?

Can you explain "2years with a dependent visa"? We, my sister and I, have the same situation with our mother ( she has no income). My sister has 5 months old twins and she desperately needs a help. Up to now she couldn't stay more than 3 months.

For 6months visas there is no big restrictions. But for more than 6months it depends on the individuals in Rathaus. Try it.

Hi, Idea!
it is not possible to insure her under the family insurance. You have to get a private insurance for her.
It is not that easy to get an extension of the visa...
