Citizenship for Kids born in DE

Hello All,

Do the kids born in DE from parents with Aufenthaltserlaubnis obtain DE citizenship? Or is it only for the kids with parents having Niederlassungserlaubis or DE passport?

Two Options:

Option 1:
One of the parents is German

Option 2:
Niederlassungserlaubnis + residence for more than 8 years in Germany
