Change of income tax catergory on marriage

In Berlin Tax card changes are done at Finance dept and not in Rathus like other cities in Germany since Jan 2011

1. Went to finance dept to get info. At the information center

A. I was told to fill up a form and bring my present tax card

B. Also city registration/ marriage registration certificate of spouse

2. To get the present tax card, the accountant at the office I work, has requested from another tax dept to get my present tax card!!!!

3. Waiting.... will update the complete process
