Cancelling a mobile contract

Hi Guys,

Iam having a mobile contract with o2 and I would like to end the contract. The reason being ,I just want to pay for the calls I make.

Is it possible that I can end my contract with o2,but still maintain my number and pay for what I call.

Dont want to buy a new prepaid SIM-card and there by change my number

Thanks

Re: Cancelling a mobile contract

It is now too late to cancel a contract once you have signed it. Give the cancellation now and use the phone only for incoming till the contract ends. In the meantime you can buy a prepaid and use it for outgoing. Slowly you can give this number as contact and phase out the old one. Cant see of anyother possibilities.

Re: Cancelling a mobile contract

Once your minimum time for contract ends you can ask O2 to convert your number to pre-paid tariff.

Re: Cancelling a mobile contract

If your present contract ending within 3 months then you can go to o2 shop and change your contract to "o2 genion- s ohne handy" . you need to pay one time payment of 25 euros. You dont have any monthly grundgebühr for this contract and pay only for calls made.

I have recently changed my 2 sim cards to above contract.

Re: Cancelling a mobile contract

yes you can have your old number.
other advantage is you can cancel your contract any time with 1 month notice.
