Am I eligible to get the Elterngeld

Hi ,

My son was born last year 2007 in November. I earn more than 52K Euros per annum and my wife studying in university without any part time job. Am I eligible to get the Elterngeld (300 Euros for my Wife). If yes , how should I apply for it. I would appreciate if you can share your experiences.
PS: I tried looking in other thread, but could not find the concrete answer.

Yes, your wife is eligible to get elterngeld of 300€ after the child born till 12month. You can also filled online form.
