Werkstudent 20 hr per week
Hallo all,
I have a doubt since long, just wanted to clarify it.
If a student is working 20 hr per week at company1 and if he has another chance of working 20 hr per week in company2 (both are werkstudent positions), can he utilize this offer and work for two companies, by dividing the time in the week? Is it legal?

When are you planning to attend the classes at the University then ? 
Dont the students have 90 full-time working days of work-permit?
if you dont exceed this limit of 90 days. I guess, it shouldnt be a problem.

There is normally no problem for working with 2 companies at a time. During my study, I know many guys did that.

Theory exams are all over. So, no more work to do at home. Pretty boring at the moment, so asked this question.

i have been in a similar situation and as mentioned by someone the lohnsteuerkarte has two levels. Karte eins (that has minimal tax deductions) and Karte sechs (has 40% tax deductions i guess). Nevertheless, the klass sechs is heavy tax deduction. U can comprehend the situation as if u are getting paid only half for waht u are doing, for the second job. If u think its still worth then it surely is possible.

I am doing this already from this month.I am doing a
student job for 16hrs/week and another praktika (16hrs/week). But this praktika has an aushilfe contract and hopefully days oy my tax-karte will not be cut!
Anyone cud throw more light on this??

Yes,have student status till May after which I will finish my studies.
