Tax Benefits

hi all,

i am moving back from US to Germany on 1st of March'08. I need your help from your previous experiences, i own home in US and i am keeping this for a while, and am gonna rent a flat in Germany. Will there be any tax benefits for me if i register my home in germany as second home? What are the advantages and disadvantages in claiming tax benefits and registering second home in Germany?

yes you can claim double household benefit in germany
