SOA future prospects

Im planing to learn SOA to upgrade my skills for future jobs in germany.
Im thinking to learn OpenESB from java https://open-esb.dev.java.net/

So please give tell if it would worth to add some SOA skills(BPEL ,JBI) in my profile.
Im choosing this coz my job profile currently all has to do with webservices.
So that would match my profile also.
