Citibank auslandüberweisung gespert?
Hi All,
Today I tried to transfer money from my citibank account to pakistan and it says out of country transfer is not possible.
Überweisung auf ein Citibank-Konto im Ausland
Dies ist nicht möglich.
Bitte kontaktieren Sie unseren Kundenservice unter 0180/5 227 222 (14 cent/min. aus dem dt. Festnetz), um weitere Informationen zu erhalten.
Does any one else has same experience?
I will ask from citibank tommorow.
It is realy wired to block foreign transfer without notice.

Check the account number and IBAN. I got the same message when I made foreign transaction with one digit missing in the account number.
Just cross check your bank details and account number again. it should work.

If you are transferring more than 12500 Euro then you have to fill up a declaration form provided by bank.
Nach §§ 59 ff. der Aussenwirtschaftsverordnung (AWV) müssen Gebietsansässige für Überweisungen mit einem Gegenwert über 12.500,-- EUR eine Bundesbankmeldung abgeben.

Hi All,
Thanks for reply. I think, it was just WebServer problem. Next day I was able to transfer money from Bank Counter, without problem.
Now online banking is also working again.
