Arbeitslosengeld with varying salary during last 12 months
Hi GCs,
If someone had a salary change during last 12 months.Which salary will be considered for Arbeitslosengeld
1. last net salary
2. or average of last 12 months

And what is the percentage of the average that will be paid? For how long, 12 or 24 months? And need the different taxes, and 4 types of insurances still be paid?

first you need at least 12 monts arbeit to get it.
it lasts half of work period with max of 2 years
% is 73-77 with kids but I am not sure

Hey guys..
about arbeitslosgeld.. I saw some interesting news in TV yesterday.. Politicans are discussing a law which will abolish Unemployment benefits and will give only Social Help(Sozialhilfe)
to unemployed people ? is this correct ?
They say, the law will be effective at the beginning of 2005, so no more 60% of last salary, instead social help.. ha ? that should be what they call as "Abbau des Sozialstaats" 
by the way, how much is the social help ? you guys have any idea ?
Any extra info from you guys, appreciated.. as I didnt read all details of this new initiative..

arbeitslosgeld stays
arbeitsloshilfe is weg and there will come socialhilfe

Hi,
Arbeitslosenhilfe is also money you would get after the Arbeitslosengeld. That is smaller than the Arbeitslosengeld.
