sport in stuttgart
hi folks,
..i'm thinking of getting a membership to one of the fitness studios in/around stuttgart (mainly to play squash & badminton). google helped me get info on their locations. but i was wondering if anyone here has some opinions/experiences - mainly costs, availability of other players, etc.
if someone's already a member or plays regularly with a group, would be nice to hear from them.
have fun

You're talking about fitness or games, like soccer and all?

@Tiefweiss
If it's not too far from where you live.this place could be an excellent place :-
http://www.fitnesscompany-wn.de/
I played there a long time a ago with a group(my colleagues).
As regards availability of other players , I think is best you go there and ask.
Their prizes there is relatively ok.
BTW : How good are you ?
@Nobody

Games stuffs like Squash,badminton and most importantly Soccer. right

thanks onye ..seems like a nice place..they dont have prices listed on their site though..i'll call anyway
as far as badminton's concerned, i play a decent game..used to play local tourneys back home..are the courts in this place you mention on the ground floor? it isnt too much fun when the ceiling's low..btw do you still play there?
squash is something i've wanted to try for a long time..so i'm a complete greenhorn there

@tiefweiss
The courts are well placed,the ceiling is like miles away.
I Still play there once a while.
I'm pretty good in Squash but play less of badminton.

By the way I sometimes play badminton in the Blau-weiss tennis club in Vaihingen, with my other coleagues, it costs 14 EUR per court per hour. Its pretty costly compared to the one above mentioned.
I and my friends are interested in playing, but Heilbronner str is little bit far away from Mhoeringen.

@onye
thanks again for the clarification
@b_janardhan
that link was the one i was searching for..sounds good..as for distance, all the places i've found till now are pretty far off..there's one in Fellbach which had a good offer...heilbronnerstr. is a stone's throw away in comparison ![]()

Re: sport in stuttgart
here's an update on my search for playing badminton/squash in stuttgart..i figured that the places are way too far 'specially since i rely on public transport..another thing is that the fitness studios are somehow not too flexible with their patrons' needs..the average rates are abt 10€ per hour and no one's willing to offer a monthly package..strange
anyway, i found that only the fitness-company in waiblingen has badminton courts..however there's another place in gerlingen which offers a monthly package of 37,90€ (jahresvertrag)..sounds good to me..need to check out the place though
the place is:
POINT Sports.Wellness.Club
Dieselstr. 2
70839 Gerlingen
Telefon: 07156 / 2 20 20
E-Mail: info@point-sports.de
this isn't too closeby either but it seems to be the best of the lot for now.
