Hi all,
Last year my wife came here to Germany and she got the dependent visa.
Last month we extended both of our visas. This time when we got our visas extended for 3 years.
Presently my wife is studying in an university and she wanted to have student visa for the part-time-jobs/internships.
They gave my wife a student visa also for 3 years (which is based on my visa).
My question is when she wants to do a par-time-job/internship then she should get the tax class from the government. When she does that, will my existing tax class(III) will change to something else?
could any one of you please throw some light over this issue.

Hi,
It depends upon you...
1)If you earn more then keep 3 and wife 5 and vice versa
2)Both earn same then take 4 and 4
Imp Note: changing of tax cards has to be informed to Bürger service before end of the month
