"Holding Company" OR "Subsidiary" Company
Dear All
Do any body have experience setting up a "Holding Company" OR "Subsidiary" Company in india for a GERMAN company.
Proposed german company is in the field of IT and funded by venture capital.
I would like to know, when a foreign company wants to setup a subsidiary in India, will it require any kind of approvals.
The nature of the company's business is into IT sector, for example doing projects for parent company in India,
so employing developers and admin staff in India for doing the same.
So let me know whether there is approvals required for starting up a subsidiary IT company
in India or if soem one suggest a favourable route other than this
please advice and suggest.

info - A foreign company setting up a subsidiary in India for IT activity need not required any approval of license as IT is 100 % opened up for foreign investment.

2, My partner is a german , he need lot of docs to be attested.
3, Deutsch-Indische Handelskammer Will they be of real use OR they for consultancy fees.
