Handy Contract
Hallo All,
I took a handy and contract when i came here early this year and the contract runs for two years. Now i have to go out of germany for another job and i will be de-registering myself from germany and closing my bank account too.
1. What will happen be the handy contract?
2. Do i have to pay penalties for breaking the contract?
3. Is there anyway to pay less, by providing a letter that i am going out germany permanently?
The shopkeeper from where i bought the handy does not really know about the procedures.
Appreciate your views. Thanks in Advance.

Re: Handy Contract
I have also handy from D2.
No you do not have to pay nothing.
In case U are living DE, your contract is atomaticaly not valied anymore.
That I have ask in D2 and got as answer.
Just provide your visa end or Abmelde Bescheinigung from Meldeamt, make it written and case closed.
You can keep your handy because it is your own property.

Re: Handy Contract
there are no panelties for valid reasons but you will be required to pay the remaining monthly amount, which you are supposed to pay for 2 years.
for example, if u pay 9.99 per month as gebhür, and after 16 months you say that i am leaving. they will then calculate 9.99 for remaining 8 months and you will be expected to pay it.
