Winter tyre/Summer tyre OR all weather Tyre !!!!

Hi All,
i have only summer tyres, but now i plan to buy tyres for winter season. I was thinking to buy all weather tyres becuase it hassle free as i dont need to change every season(extra cost). also my summer tyres old enough for next season. Therefore I prefere to go for all weather tyres. Can somone guide if:

1- all waether tyres are allowed by law?
2- and if my insurance will not have any issues if i met with accident- I asked the insurance company, but they say it depends on the police report based on the accident conditions if it was due to using all weather tyres. So i am little bit confused. Please help and share your experience.

It is not actually restricted by law, so it means it is allowed

You already have the answer. It all depends on the police report of what led to the accident.

All weather tyres are neither good for summer nor for winter. You save a little by not having to change the tyres twice a year but you lose them having to pay more for fuel and less road handling.
