Wrong tax class?

Hi everybody,
I work and live in Hamburg and my wife lives and works in Bremen. We just got married few months ago.
I changed my Steuerklasse from 1 to 3 and Hamburg changed tax for my wife from 1 to 5. But in Bremen, they still use Steurerklasse 1 for my wife(my wife registered in Bremen).
My question is that what should be happened if Finanzamt/employer know their mistakes?

I think this will be corrected at the end of the year when you declear your taxes at the Finance Departement.You can do that individually or collectively.You might have a tax return or pay back a due tax balance depending on your salaries.
