Work permit for Forschungspraktikum
hello,
Can anyone tell me if there is a work permit required for doing a Forschungs Praktikum (research internship) at a government funded university ?.
The ausländeramt said we have to get one, but it has been more than 4 weeks since they applied ot the arbeitsamt and we have been waiting so far with no success.
I heard from my friends that we do not require a workpermit for taking up resarch related jobs at a government funded university. But I could not find the rule.
Can anyone help me out?.
