hello all
I am yet to make Tax declaration for 2005 and 2006. I am married.
Is there any deadline for filling tax returns.

For people with Steuerklasse I, they can submit the Steuererklärung up to 2 years after the end of the year in question and it is not mandatory to do submit any(It's up to you but usually you'll always get money back if you're single).
That means for 2005 you have till end of 2007 to do so.
For all other Steuerklassen, you only have till May of the following year which means that for 2005 you had until May 2006 to do that. I also know that if you're doing this through a Steuerberater, you have till the end of the following year. I don't know which Steuerklasse you had back then but those are the rules in general.
