Family support tax return (pensioner)

Hi,
I support my father who is a pensioner in India. Is it possible to apply tax return for that support?

Or can I support only people without any income?

You can get the tax benefits if you get it certified by the muncipality/panchayat that the existing pension is not sufficient. For this you need to fill a Form and get it stamped by the muncipality/Panchayat. The total benefit amount is i guess 1900 eur
